I am most sure that this topic has already been discussed, but I can't find it anywhere here, or on the internet.
Is there any company that makes "ACTUAL" mini-strobe lights for the safety and navigations lights for R/C models?
I don't want LED's.... and I have already come across a few sites that tell you how to make one out of camera flashes.
C'mon boys! One of you out there should know....
Thank you!

Bijoux;
I have been using one for years. Has a small U shaped Xenon bulb powered by a Highvoltage inverter and uses a 3.6 Volt Nicad pack. It's very bright.
It is still in a plane and I can't find my paperwork for it at the moment which means I don't remember who made it. It was popular a few years back. Maybe they still are available. Someone around here should know. It might be McDaniels R/C. I see that Tower doesn't list that company anymore.
I'm also sure that you don't want a strobe on the NAV lights, but the new super bright LED's work great there. I would use a small flashlight lens and bulb for a landing light.
Sorry can't be more of a help....

Here is a link to a listing of what Tower Hobbies carries.

There are probably lots of others available but I did the easy search.
