the cable that gp supplies with their kit is useless. it is not coated and unravels when you cut it to lenght, tried to solder it at the cut point but it still did'nt work im goint to use
some coated pull-pull cable instead

How do you make them work? Beef up the attachment points.
Want real flying wires? (Cable isn't scale flying wire) Check out http://www.nelsonhobby.com
Although it's hard to find on the site, they do sell 6' and 24' rolls of scale wire.

I ordered a 24' roll today to do the wires on my GP Tiger Moth. I got all of the strut mounts redone (made new ones with 2 screws holding them to the wing instead of just one) and it's time to redo the wires.
Seems a friendly, helpful fellow at Nelson.
