I finally started on the Diabolic. Have any of you guys mounted the rudder servo in the rear of the fuselage bottom? Are there any other things I should be aware of?

Thanks,

JW

I think you will throw off your balance if you put the rudder servo in the tail.
I had a Diabolic with a Saito 100 and put the battery forward for a perfect balance.
I think you would end up adding weight to the nose if you put the servo in the tail and the whole point to this plane is to keep it light!
I don't understand why you would want to put it in the tail anyway, just put it where it is supposed to go with the pull-pull.

Thanks for the reply Hammbone. I saw one with the servo in the tail and wondered if that was the norm. How did you like the Diabolic and what happened to it?

Thanks,

JW

I liked it a lot. It does what it looks like it will do!
Waterfalls, Elevators, Walls, flat spins, etc.
I had a blast with it.
I have now sold it.
