Hi, I just recieved a Sanye (S. Y. Machinery Co.) J-3 Piper Cub ARF. I bought this kit on a whim from Ebay, expecting it to be a Koyosho cub (this is what the auction pics showed). Well needless to say, it arrived and is not what I thought. I pulled it out, and am actually pretty impressed with what I see. The covering appears good, the construction is solid, and it is pretty true to scale. The instructions are garbage, absolutely the worst I have ever seen, but I can work with them. The plane also has a fiberglass cowl, and metal landing gear (not piano wire). The wingspan is 60".
Does anyone know anything about this plane, or this company. I'm wondering if I should build it or try to sell it again and cut my losses. I paid about $150 with shipping, so i'm sure I got screwed on this kit. Oh well. Any info is well appreciated.
