Well having flown ALL hangar 9 warbirds... I will rate them by ease of flight:
1, Thunderbolt (best overall everything)
2, Mustang (Really good, but some people don't like the covering, original version retracts weren't all that great but the revised retracts are really good)
3, Corsair (Flying Very easy, landing, hella tricky)
4, Texan (Ahh the short midget wobly retracts will cause you to rub your wing tips on the ground)
5, P-40 (Landing is hard, noses over easily)

I had a H-9 Texan. (had) and the retracts were awful. other than that, what a beautiful and awesome plane. great quality, build and flight charastics. I read somewhere on a different post that H-9 has upgraded the retracts.

dakster1a,
Man another guy here that lives in my son's area! H9 has upgraded the landing gear and
one of the guys at our field has the P51 with the upgraded retracts........all they did was make them out of different material, now they're kinda brown. They're better but still no cigars. The best way to fix the landing gear issues is still to install the Robart 3/16" wires. It only takes a little drilling and a little routing in the wing because the loops (springs) in the wire are not exactly the same but can be made to look OK. This made all the difference in the world.

I have a question.
I have ordered the CMP AT 6 from Raiden.
Why does it require 160 engine.
I have Topflite T34 weighs 12 pounds 80 inch wings.
I have a saito 91 and it flys just fine. Scale like
