Anyone knows what is the manufacturer of the following "Phantom 40" that is sold on ebay?:

I just bought one from a friend but need to know where the C.G. should be, the location of the fuel tank, and the control throws. If any one knows, please let me know. Do you know where I could download its instruction manual?
Thanks.

Thank you very much for the link.
It's not clear for me what the %MAC should be. Should I use for instance 30% and then adjust the weight of the airplane equipment so that I get the calculated CG position on the airplane?
Thanks.

On a swept wing, you can't simply use 28/30% like on a straight cord wing.
Tank over cg will keep a constant balance; but that plane looks as though it will be a little tail heavy. Might plan on moving tank forward to help balance.
The landing gear should already be 1" behind cg. With all the gear in the plane, you should be able to push down on rudder and feel good resistence till it falls back on tail skid and little effort to lift the rudder and have it flop onto nose gear.
I hope you've had plenty of time flying fast low wing craft. That is NOT a second plane.

In fact it's more like my 15th airplane, I guess it will fly similar to a LearJet from Great Planes that I had some time ago. Have you flown a Phantom before?
What %MAC would you recommend me for the calculation? If I place the CG 1 or 2 inches in front of the landing gear, do you think that would be ok?
Thanks.

I've only had the Patriot years ago as that style of plane.
You should be ok 1 to 2". Too far forward and it will be hard to rotate and then all of a sudden it will shoot up like a rocket from all that up elevator.
Let us know how the flight goes.

The person who sold me the airplane didn´t have the manual. Do you have it? could you email it to me?
What should be the CG distance (measured at the root cord). What about the control throws for high and low rates?
You mentioned that I should put the tank just behind the firewall, it doesn't become too nose heavy that way?
I see that you have the same airplane, could you give me your phone number so I could call you to discuss the way it flies?
Thanks.

Thank you Spacewalker. The video clip shows a turbine power or a glow powered airplane (it sounds like a jet)?
I hope you can find the instructions manual. Thanks.

SpacewalkerSG -- Did you have to add any weight to the tail to get it to balance using the OS .50SX??
If so, how much weight?
Do they list anything about installing Retracts in it?
Thanks.
