Blackhorse Models Extra300
I finally got around to putting it together.Very nice ARF.The canopy/top hatch was finished, the tail feathers fit perfectly in their spots,2 piece wing with 2ft aluminum tube spar, built up/airfoiled vert and hori stabs and pull/pull on the rudder. The cowl stripes dont line up and the tail wheel wire is soft.I put the engine at 90 instead of the pre drilled 45,put slightly larger main wheels on and replaced all the push rods.Magnum .91 2c for power. If the wind settles,I hope to succesfully maiden her this evening

The BH Extra 300-60 is a nice plane for the price and a great first big aerobatic plane. Covering is great, well built and assmebles in like 3 hours, I had 3, lost 2 because of a faulty RX. She comes in for landings with ease. Precision she may not have for the discerning flier but as a intermediate plane it is great stuff.

RE: Blackhorse Models Extra300
Wind finally let up late this evening and got to do the maiden flight.Alittle up trim and some left aileron and she tracked pretty good. The .91 2 stroke is more than enough.1st flight was capped by a pretty smooth/slow landing.Dialed in some expo on the ele and ail and went back for more.It is crisp on rolls and snaps(stops where ever you release the sticks).Seems a little more "darty" than my Goldberg Extra, but is not unenjoyably wild.As mentioned,it was a nice ARF kit and def worth the price.I wouldnt hesitate to buy another.
