Default elevator servos in rear of Minicraft Taylorcraft

Hello all, I've got a Minicraft Taylorcraft, (the same as the H9 kit) but the elevators uses a y pushrod into one servo located at the front of the cabin.
This provides a fair amount of slop IMHO and so would like to install the servos in the rear. Has anyone done this?
I'll strengthen the rear tail area to accomodate.
I'm using a mvvs26 and this plane can hold a g26 up the front, so any balancing issues, the plane should be able to handle any extra lead to balance.
Any thoughts anyone? All comments appreciated.
