Hobbico Superstar Selct Mark II
News and notes:
1) Great flyer, smooth as silk and the OS 65 LA has alot of power. Maiden flight went flawless, after trimming half throttle moved it around just fine.
2) Epoxy the wing, Stabilizer, and Rudder. I ran fiberglass around the wing with 30 minute epoxy with a sheet of fiberglass in between.
3) CHECK THE ENGINE MOUNT. The second flight I noticed the engine mount screws shook loose, I had to cut the trip short and go home, remove the engine, put lock tight (Nail Polish) on the engine mount screws and motor mount screws.
4) For <$400 for airplane, engine, radio, fuel and glo starter, great deal.
5) First time back at the field in 5 years...PRICELESS!!!!!
Go for it, beginners and returners, great plane
