My ebay special came in last week and I flew it 10 or 12 flights this week, so far no signs of stress weakness. As with any ARF, use common sense and use thin and or medium Ca on every joint you can reach. On this model with the wing cradle. I soaked the entire channel with thin Ca and poured in thinned 30 min. epoxy thru the radio hatch to soak the wood along the main and rear spars. Several people mentioned the fuse would break behind the wing; I cut and then routed a 3/16" groove along the belly and epoxied in a spare carbon arrow shaft I had. Take care not to go too deep since the balsa is only 1/4" thick. I flew it with an Enya 80 4c and set the cg at 6 3/4" back as opposed to the suggested 6" in the manual. Out of all the kits and few arf's I've built, this is maybe the second that had no trim flight adjustments required at all. Rolled out straight, took off level and didn't climb or dive under power(3/4 throttle). The climb was very straight so the lateral balance was close enough. I only wish it would have fit in my van as one piece -- a real pain to feed the three servo extensions thru the top of the wing until I made a pink urethane foam stand with 3/4" slots to hold the fuse inverted.
For $46.17 plus costly $35.00 shipping, this is still a great bargain. Happy now I went ahead and bought two. Don't let the doom sayers discourage you from flying a great plane. If you're a yank-n-crank flyer that doesn't watch the g-stress on the wing, almost any plane will fold. I trained in a time when a pilot flew "off the wing" and not the overpowered oversized prop.
