Just saw this plane on Horizons site. They have several photos and the plane looks pretty good.

I'll bet this is a very fun plane to fly. I'll also bet it's a huge success for H9. What a great size for most of us. 16 pictures on the website. Not a single picture of what it looks like underneath. Must be ugly.
Thanks

I agree that this will be a huge hit and is the perfect size.
redneckteddy103, how did your LHS get one of these? Horizon says they're not available till mid August.

H9 has a program where certain dealers get new products before they are available. The new ARF version of the PTS Mustang that is shown here: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=HAN2845 originally said it wasn't available until mid june but my local shop had it in the beginning of may. I'll be checking for this .60 sized twist very soon there...

horzion has a program for hobby shops called fast forward and its sends out all the lastest things and since i work for the hobby shop i get to go threw it and say ya or na to keep it or send it back . i keep it and put an old trusty asp 65 on it and it flys like a dream only thing to watch out for is that i had tobeefup the landing gear blocks and i changed the size of the nybolts just in case of a little mishap.. yes the arf pts mustang is great since we have sold so many of the rtf 's it was a must for replacements . sold 3 of them yesterday for 180.00a pice not bad for a fusealge and wings ( - radio & engine )

The bottom of the twist 60 is solid red with double black stripes on each wing. I got mine Thusrday and it looks awsome. I almost have it together. Need some wiring yet and then I'll let-er-rip....I'm excited....

If you have everything that you need, you can have it out of the box and ready to fly in an afternoon! This is probably the best ARF aircraft that you can get for this kind of money. My local dealer got one in last week and I bought it for $135.00! I suspect that they will sell for around $150- The covering was awsome, NO wrincles! All of the controll surfaces are hinged and glued. You take it out of the verry nicley packaged box, bolt the tail on with three bolts, glue in the throttle pushrod, drill holes for the servos, bolt on the landing gear, and motor mounts, and then drop in the radio gear and balance! The only glue that you need is for the throttle pushrod and the pre-trimmed and tinted canopy! I can see no need to improve on the factory glue joints either....that's a first! The only thing that I did was thin out a little epoxy and re "paint" the firewall/cheeks because it looked a little thin with the sealer that they use. I'm just waiting on an engine for mine now....I'm trying to decide between the OS .61fx or the .91fx. Any comments? P.S. This is my first post! I have been on the site now for about 8-9 months and it is definatley the place for great information! Do any of you guys/girls have suggestions on props for these motors?

Oh yea, another thing to concider is swaping out the stock pushrods with regular old 2-56 rods and useing metal clevises on all of the controll surfaces. Aside from the new controll rods, you will need (2) 9" and (2) 16" servo extentions. It may bee a good idea to use (2) 3" extentions coming out of the reciver for your ailerons too!

I'm sold... I'll get my LHS to get one for me.
I'm planning to put a Tower Hobbies .75 in mine. I have one of these in a "Stick" type plane (similar to an Ultra Stick), & have about 30 flights on it so far... runs great! I've stuck with OS up to now, but I'm very impressed with this TH .75 so far. I fly an APC 12X8 on it. If you want to stick with OS, though, you can't go wrong there...
