I have just completed the Great Planes AT-6 ARF with a Saito .72 up front and was wondering if anyone has had any experience flying this bird.It would be nice to know its likes and dislikes . like landing speed and stall characteristics.
Thanks for all comments.

I have one with only test flights on it. I have an asp .52 4-stroke on it. I went with the retracts but I do fly off grass. The fist flight was a joy, very stable on the ground and is up in the air quickly. It does have a tendency to tip stall on the let wing but I have a suggestion that will help. After flying around a while I made it stall at less than 1/4 th and full ele on high rates and it drops the left wing (fast and hard) but this can be overcome on landing by mixxing in some washout by adding spoiler funciton to the landing mix. I used .15% with .7% elevator compensation to do this. When I get ready to land just flip the switch and up comes the alerions. It will almost drop straight down now. The .52 really flys it well so your .72 will be a blast. Hope you find this somewhat usefull. I have attached a pic. by the way I ended up with a 12x6 to slow down the landing speed some. Just don't forget to flip the switch or over she will go.
