Default Who makes a good extra

Just as the title says, who makes a good extra or edge in the 40 to 60 size. I saw that Great Planes discontinued their Extra. And what is the difference in the flying characteristics from a edge to a extra?

For a beginner into low wing I will say the Black Horse Extra 40 is nice. For something better it has to be the Fliton Extra 330, a superb flying machine. As for Edges the Pacific Aeromodel one in 60 size flies well for aerobatics. Also, everyone raves about the Aeroworks Edge. For me I find they both are about the same ... hehehee ...

I like that Aero works edge 540. How do the edges fly compared to a extra? And would a os 91 be enough for it?

Atlanta Hobby carries the Fliton, you can also get it at Hobby Lobby. For me the Edge and Extra flies about the same too. Of course I do not mean a Black Horse one against the AeroWorks.
