What ARF do you think was the 'best' (in your humble opinion) for the year 2002?
I'd like to do a poll, but don't know which models to include - there were so many....
So what's your choice?
Mine is the H9 P-51....gottttttta love that one!

Kyosho Majestic. Most honest, well-built plane I have ever owned or flown. Coming from a guy who really prides himself in his kit-built planes, I think that's saying a lot.

I had the chance in May of '02 to fly a 33% H9 Cap. Unbelievable!
Had to have one. Got mine in November.

Ah, but it never came out in 2002!
Actually, if I were to vote a close second, I think the UCD3D has set the sport flying world on fire, making it easy for the average Joe to start flying aerobatic maneuvers that were never dreamed of only a few years ago. On top of that, it lands slower than your trainer and comes at a very attractive price. The biggest downgrade with this plane though is its name
. Seriously though, I'm still going with the Majestic, but the UCD is a very high honorable mention in my book.

Was this in MAN? I saw something about the DP on their site about it being in MAN, but I've just come back from a couple year hiatus and haven't seen much recently about the Majestic. Who knows, if it gains popularity it may be best in 2003, at least in a user opinion poll like this.

Wait a minute, if we are going to do this, it has to be done in prices ranges. Not alot of us want to spend the money for a 33% plane. So:
100.00..... The Magic
200.00..... The U Can Do
300.00..... ????
400.00..... WM Extra 300
100.00..... The Magic

300.00..... ????
400.00..... WM Extra 300

Hey Stomper:
Billy Hell is going to give it to you if he finds you're not flying a profile! Or did you leave the wheel pants off to make it narrower? Haw.
Yes, I know, he recently got a conventional plane too. So I suppose you're safe.
Some people like profiles, I just give them a patronizing smile.
Bill.

Since I built only one ARF and that being a GP PITTS, I will go with that.
Even after all the mods, and post, still went with G62.
Looks nice and flies nice, have not rung it out yet, BUT!!!
I will!!!
I have flown wgeffon H9 Cap, I could vote on that one too, if I had one!

I think the SIG Rascal 40 is one of the best ARF's out there....Great covering, excellent flight charactaristics, lots of flying time with a SAITO 56.
