I am building a Rayn STA and need some help in selecting servos. The amnual recommends only 45 0z-in torque servos--I installed the higher torque futaba S3010 servo @ 72 oz-in. My friend suggests I should also upgrade to the metal gear design servo. I am not a high hour flyer and not a lot of fancy stunts, so wonder if the S3010 are actually adequate.

Hi Paul, The 3010 fut. servo will be fine for what you want to do. If you were to go to a large gas engine then you might want to go to metal gears. Wayne M.
