Default Best plane for .91 four stroke

Hello,

I recently lost my beloved shoestring in an unfortunate flying accident, darn the sun and its silhouette. Needless to say, the engine and all the radio equipment made it out ok. I'm now trying to find a replacement for my once speedy little plane since GP doesn't make them anymore. Any ideas? Thanks alot everyone.

Sorry for your loose... I lost my first shoestring to early spring mistake on my part and tip stalling it and doing cart wheels down the run way... Had to get anothe one right away! I have the shoestring still and it's one of my everyday flyers... I have a 91 2 stroke and last year at a fun fly on police radar gun it was clocked at 126mph. I have seen different racers at funflys butthe shoestring racer gets tons of attention because of looks. Look at the DAGO RED mustang, a fun / fast plane to fly... There is a knock off on ebay real cheap right now. Migit Mustang is another good one. and of course GP Little Toni is the closes to the Shoestring racer.

Thanks alot, 126mph is pretty impressive. Nice pilot by the way, I had a batman coin bank head in mine. Take care in future flights, I'm still open to more ideas for a new plane.

My vote is for a Sig Hog Bipe. Been flying for 30+ years and this is probably the best plane / engine combo I have flown. Pure enjoyment with great capabilities. It also has the nostalgic curves of a gone era. If I can figure it out, I will attach a photo.

Recovering and bashing a 4* 40 and going to put Batman as the pilot... should be neat to look at... Winter project. The sig bip is nice... Too bad you can't get the Sportsman aviation WACO flys great with a 91... They quit making them
