On the World Model P-51 (smaller one .46/.70 size) I went to install a Cirrus 100BB retract servo which is 45mm or 1.78 inches long but the preinstalled wood mounting blocks are too close together to let the servo fit in.
Is there a shorter servo to use or do I have to struggle awkardly with trying to cut down the blocks deep in the wing?? Any suggestions on how to do this if necessary?
Did anyone else have this problem?
thanks so much for any help

JUST GOT THROUGH PUTTING MINE TOGETHER IT IS THE .40 MISS AMERICA, ON THIS ONE I USED A ROTO DRUM SANDING BIT TO ENLARGE THE OPENING TO FIT A JR LOW PROFILE RETRACT SERVO,
WORKS GREAT.

I took my my xacto saw and cut the originals out. Then I cut two new one to right size, mounted them on the servo and then positioned and glued the servo where I wanted it.
