I just got a ultra stick 40 for a toss in the car and go fly plane. I have it set up with the quad flaps on my 8UA (non-super). Everything is done as per the manual using the glider programming. All seemed fine till I advanced the throttle with the crow activated. As the throttle increased the amount of crow decreases. Is it supposed to be this way? I have tried eveything to get it to stop. There is no mention of this in the manual. Am I missing something?

This is just how it works on the 8U and 8U super when you use the glider mode.
The 8U manual eludes to being able to set it up without using the programmed mixes, I messed with mine a little bit and gave up on it.
If you figure it out post the setup.

Thanks for the replies. I know it's not a glider. I just followed the instructions in the ultra stick manual which says to set it up as a glider and that the throttle will function normally. I'll have to play with the mixes a bit.

My ultra stick and others as well do this with the futaba 8uafs radio. Think of it as a go-around mode as you throttle up to get out of trouble. It appears to be normal with the 8u radios.
