Default CG Super Chip Kit = WM Super Chip ARF???

Hello all, i recently had a bad experience with a snap roll on take off with my World Models Super Chip. The fuse from the canopy forward is destroyed. I was wondering if i used the plans from my unbuilt Carl Goldberg Super Chip kit to build a new fuse if it would be the same as the world models one. the wings are unharmed as are the tail feathers. Can anyone help me out here. From what i can see they are the same.

Default RE: CG Super Chip Kit = WM Super Chip ARF???

I flew a WM Chippy for years and always thought they were the same. As a matter of fact, I definately remember seeing threads in rec.models.rc.air (newsgroup) years ago that said the WM version was a clone replica of the CG when it first came out.

Sorry to hear of your Chippy's demise []
