Yup, I think a 6" extentoin would work. Make sure you "fix" the aileron lead to the extention with tape or something that will not let is separate.

I have some standard JR servos in mine. The leads hang out of the wings by 3/4". I still use short extentions just so I don't have to hunt for the correct rx ports.

I am running hitec 605's and I have just enough length that all I have to do is plug the servos into a "Y" when I put the wings on. So if you are carefull, you don't have to have an extention. I haven't used one on mine yet, and I have 3 SE's..........

The way that I use this is dental floss. I just tie it around the two connecters, and they will NEVER come off unless I take them off (which is quite easy). This works quite well..
