As far as landing, this plane comes in like a glider, very easy to land, and slows down good also,, remember it has a air brake!
I have flown all of the vmar propjets except the f18,, and they all fly very good, ecept for the A4 Skyhawk,, that little sucker is very jittery and some times down right scary,,.. very easy to snap in a turn, and once she does that,, it is very hard to get back into control!

If the take off run is to long with the SU-27 then i will probably go for the F4.
SU-27 looks like a heavier model.
Bit more going on with the airframe. Intakes slung underneath the fuse, twin vertical stabs and looks like slightly less wing area too. I really like the look of the SU-27 though. Looks scale to me.

Have heard bad things about the VMAR A4. Have to bring it in like a meteorite apparently. The VMAR prop-jet that surprises me with how well it flies, is the Mig-21. That thing doesn’t appear to have much wing, but it flies fantastically well.
SU-27, definitely the best in appearance, at least so far.

The AK model SU27 is a nice plane,, but you have to build it,, and thats one thing i dont have time for, or the patients anymore!! If Alex of ak models could get that design built in china as a ARF it would be a big seller i think. The vmar su27 is just alittle larger then the ak models version. not by much though.

you certainly wont be dissapointed phippsa
the kit is excellent ! but like i said in my last post only problem i see at the mo is how to install the air brake. not sure what size servo to put in yet as i guess it is gonna have to be a little more then a standard servo . one of the boxes is just the body so exspect a large box to arrive lol plus one other wich containes the remainder .cheers paul

Might not use the air break on mine. prob mix in flaperon. Should slow her down and add a little extra lift too.

The air brake was a pain in the rear,,, there should be a servo mounting plate in your hardware bag,,,,, there was no instructions in mine ether,, i just played around and made it work,, im sure its not right but it works,, i had to add some extra hard wood to the mount to get it to mount to the inside of the fuse. The air brake doe's look cool but then again,, up close it is kind of cheesy, i think it should of been deleted on the production models,, or made better,,, i had bad weather again today, rain, and wind,,, i am starting to get sick of this crap,,,,, it is ether raining or it is to windy,,, i want to take the SU27 back up and really ring her out, and get some video,,, maybe Monday,.
