Chief aircraft has 100 of these coming in for $700. This is an awesome flying plane at a great price. Check out www.chiefaircraft.com . cbk

I absolutely hate mine. It doesnt fly well at all. It wont 3D.
Flies heavy. ZDZ 80 is a bad engine choice for it.
(Look at my avatar, cant you tell? )

In fact, I hate it so much, I may end up getting a second just because I am into pain.
The BME 102 I have in it barely gets it off the ground!
cheese whiz... (LOL...)

I put one together using a ZDZ80 and a steelheader and a KS clone can - the whole thing is still on my web site -
it was exactly 23lbs and no ballast was required.
I uses only one aileron servo per side - and one big pull pull rudder servo.
In my opinion -the best of the H9 lot for all around fun flying. with NO mods.
The Sukhoi is also very good -but requires ballast -or some tail/belly modes to shift CG
If you have a heavier engine -the Sukhoi balances.
For 700 -awful hard to fault.
I scratch build a lot of stuff and to be 2 lbs under this CAP at same size - any construction--takes careful building.

Dick,
Have you seen the update for the Suk's CG. Horizon is now saying their intial recomended location was too far forward.
The point they are telling people to use now is behind the tube. I cant quote how far though....
A friend of mine flew his a few months ago with what he thought was a tail heavy location and it flew great there. Turns out he was just about right on..

Whats the Deal
I dont see anything on horizons website. Are they rereleasing the kit or did they have a few extra kicking around? Is chief the only ones selling them? Can I get one through my local store? I want one!!!!!

No, I called about a week ago. They are having them made exclusively for them. However, they will still not have some of the refinements of the Sukhoi such as the bolt on wings.

Are they dealing exclusively with the manufacturer or through horizon? Are the contents of the kit exactly the same as previous ones? It doesn't seem to make economical sense to start up the production line to make only 100 kits.
