I agree I bought one earlier this month just waiting for my engine. Should fly it this weekend. If you buy this get the carbon fiber gear also you will save yourself a lot of weight.

Badge,

Which engine will you install ?

I have a OS .91FX but I would prefer a 4 strokes.

Thanks, Chris.

I just got an OS 120 Surpass II Pumped (Before they made it a Surpass III). Just got it mounted a few min ago. This will give the plane perfect 3d capabilities power wise.

I've heard and seen the AeroWorks edge 540, many many people are having weight problems... if I were you I would look into the Yellow Aircraft 60 or 120 edge, much better, lighter, and the quality is just as good or better than Aeroworks

the only problem with the seagull and the yellow aircraft edges, is the eings are one piece.
and even at 10 lbs my aeroworks edge is one of the best planes at my field. flies like its on rails and does great aerobatics.

I still think the Aeroworks ARF is better.

I was suprised no one mentioned the H9 edge 540.
Go to see it in action at 3dbatix.com.
I have set mine up with the Moki 180 the same as Meyrick has in the video's.
Watching his flawless blender pretty much convinced me!
Check it out.
Hope this helps you.

Lean540,

I love that 3dbatix.com website. Do you have any others that you want to recommend. I was thinking about buying the U-Can-Do-3D and after I seen that movie I am even more interested. Thanks for that.

The u-can-do is a totally different plane. it is a great 3D plane but not for precision flying and is allot smaller. Read this thread it has allot of information about the U-can do. Flyfalcons is a great pilot and we fly together.
