John....did you get the OS ? I don't know what it is about Corsair's,
....they seem to have about the lowest survival rate of any model
ever built....[X(]

Dave, I did get the pumper. Bought it from Tower because they offer a discount if you spend over a certain amount of money. It's supposed to be some newer design or something. I also bought the OS mount that goes with it so I wouldn't be wasting time trying to make the engine fit with the supplied mount. Bought a Dave Brown spinner and a pilot which should look very nice. I don't know why people are running they're four stokes inverted instead of on there sides. I always seem to have trouble when I mount my four strokes inverted. I guess it's a matter of preference. Hope to have the plane built this week but won't fly her for a some time with the 24 inches of snow we had in Boston last weekend. John

My thought exactly in regards to the Corsair.

Dave...not yet but maybe tomorrow. Plane is ready to go. I don't know if all the snow is off the field. If the snow is off, then it's a go. If not I have to go to my ski planes. Look forward to it though.

Well....at long last, mine is going up tomorrow. It came out pretty good....
the balance is a bit heavy in the nose, but just slightly. The servos are in
the cabin. I will put a flying brace on the horiz. stab if it survives.
I did the best I could with the covering....what a PITA ! [sm=stupid.gif]

Quasimodo the hunchback is taking her up........he creashed the last one,
but said he will take it easy this time....

Uhhhh, so what yer saying is...your Ol' flying bud "AirGar" was right?? Huh? Are ya? Huh?

Even the 120 I would consider "minimum" in the 4S class.

When I had the original ARC, the instructions showed they built theirs with a "gas motor", however, I don't recall the size. I'm guessing it had to be about the equivelent of a 120 + 2 stroker.

Haven't got her up yet. I'm too nervous after all the work I put into her.
Got a Magnum 1.08 up front with servos in the rear. I finally got her balanced with about 1.5 oz. on the left wing.

I want to perfect my trainer before I fly her.

Soon, for me, as I'm just waiting for it to get a bit warmer here.
