The plane flies great with a Saito 1.80. It isn't the sturdiest plane but the flight performance is really superb. I believe it could be powered with a 1.50 and do just as well.

Just putting mine together now, probably the only one in the UK right now

Thinking about using a YS140 as I have one on the bench right now that is untouched. Each model I put together for it I end up buying a YS160 for instead

Build so far is okay, very similar to the EF stuff but not as good I would say. All the controls parts, hinges, horns etc are smaller then the EF Yak 74" and not as good quality. Very thick covering which makes it a pain to find holes for cut outs. Don't like the pushrods and small ball links so I will probably change these.

Any words of advice for the build from anyone??

Wanted to fit a Hyde mount but doesn't look like the firewall is large enough so may have to use a Gator mount instead []

Sitting on the bench is does look like a very nice model that will Knife Edge superbly [8D]

Andy
