I am now getting ready to put in the push rods and the Pull - Pull system. First I have no slots or holes cut in the tail (like the instructions say). But more importantly I can easily see where the elevators and the rudder will bind up with each other.
Can anyone who might have this done send me some pictures of the tail area so I can get a better idea of what is needed?
This is for the Edge 540T 1.20.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Eric

Welcome to the world of Yellow Aircraft. I have a 60 size one that I've been trying to put together for about 4 weeks now. I've got the wing together and the motor mount in place. The original won't fit, either will the fuel tank. This is an ARTB "Almost Ready to build". I spent an hour or so yesterday with the same tail control issues. I'm not going to use the control horns that came with the kit for the elevators (to Big) and I'm running the pull pull about 5/8" below the elev. push rods I think it will work.

I'm building a 120 size Yellow Aircraft Edge now, but I haven't got to the tail feathers yet.
I will take a look at mine tonight and see if I can see what you are talking about.

I have the pull-pull setup. Now working on the elevators. Y/A did not include enough hardware. I am short 2 of the horn brackets to connect the Elevators. I will take some pics and post them tonight.

I don't have my tail feathers mounted yet, but I held them in place and can see that then control horns will be close. It looks like it will work out O.K. though. I won't really know for sure until I get the plane assembled more.
Sorry I couldn't help more, but I am behind you on the assembly of this plane.

The span is 72" and I am using the Saito 1.80 for power.
Can't wait to fly it. Should be unlimited vertical and a blast to 3D (or at least try to 3D).
