Sorry, haven't checked posts lately. The Willow is great. I flew it several times yesterday. It flys great with rudder coupling and differential. It is tricky on the ground with the castering tail wheel, but that is just a matter of getting used to. I does have a tendency to nose over so make sure when the wheels touch give it all the up elevator you can. Oh yea, you need to take every nut, bolt and screw out and ca/threadlock them. They all come loose. Good luck

Sounds like you are having fun with the Willow. I got tired of waiting for the replacement tail wheel bracket and I put my Saito 150 in a DPM Ultimate Bipe. I won't do anything with the Willow until this winter when, hopefully, I'll get a Saito 120 for Christmas.

Would you take a picture of how you have the exhaust exit the bottom of the plane?

I'm excited about this plane, thanks to your posts, but I don't feel like building them this time of year.

Thanks!

I could take a picture, but I don't think you could tell anything from it. With the flex extension, pictured above, the end of the muffler ends up right at the pre-cut louvers on the bottom of plane. Just enlarge one a little and viola its done.
