I hope someone here has built one , my Q is on mounting the eng. Now do you need to off set the eng. ? and also they said the landing gear was weak , what would be a good replacement set ?

Already answered.
Up/Down thrust is built in.
Since this is a pusher "P-Factor" is not as dramatic, so keep the engine straight.

You can re-inforce the gear by soldering in a metal wire cross brace, much like you would a strut for the tail.
Simple and cheap. There is a picture of this on one of the Bobcat threads.
The included gear is only OK, but it will not hold up to a hard landing. Re-inforcment wouldn't hurt.
That said, I would MUCH rather have the gear give and bend out, then have the fuselage or wing damaged on a plane because of a hard landing.
