Thanks for the info folks. I just finished my Moncoupe 60 today. The BCMA 26cc fit in it perfectly. I have also installed a smoke machine. The CG levels perfect without any extra ballast. She weighs in a hair over 12lbs. I can't imagine putting anything smaller in this. I'm amazed the 26cc's are being used on the 93" version. But that brings me compfort knowing I should have more than enough power. I'm going to tweak on her a bit more and take her up on Saturday.

Well, does not look like anyone has looked at this thread lately... but here is the latest. Everything about "teeth" "dipped wings" and etc is correct. My maiden flight was ok until the landing. I came in too slow and just before touchdown the left wing dipped and hit the runway. The plane cartwheeled a couple of times. I was sick. Luckily, with all the extra strength of the wing supports it tumbled around with minimal damage. There was only damage on the tip of the left wing, the back of the fuse just before the stab and one side of the cockpit area. The landing gear was tweaked along with the wing tube and one wing strut. Seriously, not a big deal. The wood pieces epoxy'd back together without issue. I fixed it up within a couple of hours ($70 repair). I just had to buy a new wing tube and wing struts (only one strut was damaged, but they come pairs.... I think). The only drawback has been getting replacement wing tube and the wing strut. The Kangke website allows you to buy the plane, but you have to speak with a rep to buy the parts. It's been three weeks since my original order and have since only received the wing tube. I have been on the phone several times with them when they answer. Don't get me wrong, great product, just wish their website allowed you to order parts, because the alternative is not efficient or traceable for the end user. Looking forward to my wing struts.
Great plane, easy assembly, nice looks, excellent workmanship. Buy this plane.

Rompus,
I have encountered the same issues , I have ordered a sub-cowl and cowl with pretty much the same response, at least you got the wing tube right? I'll have to build them up myself I guess. Yah, I agree great plane, nice looks, excellent workmanship>>>>>>>>>> ;uuuhhhooohhh no parts!!!!!!!
I take it that the BCMA 26cc worked out OK?

Yup the 26cc worked out just fine. Just came in too slow during landing and dipped the wing and it took a tumble. I finally recieved another shipment from Kangke but alas, they shipped me the wrong part. So still playing phone tag with them to get my struts. It'll be 4 weeks as of tomorrow. I'm assuming I could probably fly this plane without them, but then it won't look as good.

I have the 90 with a G-38, I moved the fuel tank back about 3 inches and used the receiver and batteries for balance. I have a 5 pack of sub-C's about 1/3 rd between the tail and cabin area. Balances right on. The G-38 requires about a 3 ft. rollout and must be on low idle to land. I am using an 18x8 prop. A high quality kit (arf), much better than most arf's out there. I would buy their kits again.
