Default Practicle and Reliable

Every person gets a chance to do something Special / its never too late
i'm designing my first plane and i chose it to be SPAD because of its greatness, this will be my graduation project from college and i need to build a practicle and reliable plane (what engine and radio are best for it) i mean cheapest and good ?

Default sime questions

I don't know a whole lot about spads. Do you run alierons, rudder, and elevator, or just rudder? What are the specs? Your engine size is going to be dependent on how much weight you can put on the nose. OS engines are cheap and reliable. I have a Futaba radio, and it works great. I'm sure you won't need anything more than a basic 4 channel radio.

thnx for ur reply,
my engine should be a size of .40-.47 / the wing span is 40" or 60"and yeas we use aileron, ruder and elevator and ofcourse throttle channels
i was looking forward for a Futuba radio it seems most ppl r using them and they seem reliable.
thnx agan.

Default OS

Then I would go with an OS .40LA or and OS .46FX. Those two engines are very reliable. I have one of each and they work great.
