Has anybody else thought about this since the recent recall of the Chinese toys that have been found to contain lead paint? Not that I have a toddler crawling around the floor licking on the cowling of my favorite ARF....but others may have concerns[:'(]
Thoughts?

I'd be more concerned about them licking on the fuel components than the paint.
Mind you - some of the newer color schemes do look kind of tasty

Call me crazy, but I think there is a difference in concern over lead in paint on a child's toy versus paint on an adult toy (RC models). No, I dont have concern about whether the paint on my cowl contains lead. When I am working on it, such as drilling holes, cutouts, etc, I take precautions against breathing in fiberglass dust, as well. Maybe FG dust particals is a greater hazard than potential lead poisoning? Pick yer poison.
