Is any one using a 2 stroke on the 60 size RV4? How is the mounting, not set up for upside down I hope?!? I usually use Tower Hobbies 75 engines but may look at the OS 75 due to the extra power??[8D]

OK, you sparked my intrest. I have built two GP RV-4 kits [ one modified to RV-8 specifications. ] Both powered with very reliable SuperTigres. One a .51 the other with a .60. The .51 is a little underpowered, the .61 works out much better. Both side-mounted using a Pitt's style muffler from Tower hobbies. The planes are ok[&o], I'm not too excited, and I use them once in a while. MM

Thankx for replying. I thought the planes looked cool based on the videos. I am going with a .75 size engine. Just haven't decided which brand yet.

I would like to offer one last bit of advice. I'm fully aware that we are not allowed to bash any manufacturer. So with that in mind I can only say you'll get what you pay for. Hope you choose wisley.

I was thinking about getting the OS 75 but after reading about it on here most people seem to think the tower 75 has more power. Again i don't own either so take it for what it is worth just thought you may want to know. Check the tachometer reading forums and the glow engin forums for more info.

Thats what I was wondering. I have 3 of the TH 75's and they all run very well. If the OS isn't any stronger then I will be quite happy to buy another TH!!
