I am wanting to install a Saito 82 in my new project-- Sig Sundancer 50 ARF--Anyone have any experience with that setup? I would love to hear all the pros and cons. I am concerned about cowling room and what would be the proper prop size for this setup

I put a YS .63 in one and you will have no problem putting in an .82. The YS install went perfectly. Do not, however, use the supplied spinner. It will fall apart quickly. a 13x4 APC wide blade prop was used with the YS and you should run a 14x6 with 30%. All up weight was 5.875 lbs.

Hey-Thanks!! I don't have much experience with 4 stokes. I have been running 2 strokes for quite some time now. I will be running Wildcat 2/4 (15%). I have heard of guys having ground clearance proplems with the 14" prop. I will wait and see.

I found some pics of the front of it with a 13" prop. Granted the pics are for another plane, the Sundancer can be seen in the background. It is possible to swing a 16" prop without too much problems.
