fixed esc problem!

i have a dx7 that works fine except i cant get the jeti 77 opto to beep. im using axi4130 and 4s 5000mah pack. ive disabled the bec .
i think its a programming issue . throw is set at 100% any help

Try reversing the throttle channel. I'd put money on this being the problem. But do be careful - restrain it before you power up

You say you disabled the bec. I assume you have some other source of power to the rx? If not then there's your problem. It seems too simple but hey...I have done worse. Kevin
Also try to make sure your throttle is at zero when pluggin gin the battery. Then slide the throttle to full for about 3-5 seconds. Then slide it back to zero and wait for the beep. Kevin

well greg covey figured it out. jeti opto esc require power from the rx and the lipos. I replaced the y harness with a intact one and plugged it all in. the esc beeped and they ran nothing got hot or warm. im running 6v 3000mah through the rx and 8s 5000ma for the lipos. Greg said only the optis work like this. I have some phoenix 80 amp escs and you must cut the red wire in the y harness. or boom
