My Midwest. Mike, you may have seen this one, bought it from a local guy, didn't ask where he flew. It's got a Moki 180 and yes, I pumped it....much better.

Mike,

I see your Cap ate a Magic. I have to feed mine some profile planes every once and a while too, that's what prevents the "snapping".
My computer's having a problem but there's a picture of #4 in my gallery next to an (I hope no one hears this) Extra. The design for my newest one is almost finished, I just have to paint the cowl then I'll post pictures. The design's there too. Voodoo Chile

Finally.... here's the 2nd incarnation of my 7th Cap. Still have a 20l and a 21 to do. It's a Hangar 9, rebuilt with lots of carbon replacements. "we can build him stronger "

Chris

Which Cap are you getting Paul? The 60 sized regular or sport, or the 120 sized?

Is it the regular model or the sport wing? I have the sport wing it is as gentle as a baby. But able to get wild just the same. What engine are you putting in it?

I wish I had mine... You lucky birds!
Only a few more days to go!!!
P.S. How does the Cap compare with planes like the Extra when it
comes to hovering?

It's about the same for hovering, where the Cap shines is tumbling maneuvers. Blenders are a blurr and knife-edge spins (barber poles) will make you dizzy. It's more sensitive than an Extra, kind of like the Edge 540. Guess that's why Extras are popular for pattern sequences, their stability. Caps are just awesome.

Great looking bird there Tom. I am a CAp addict as well. Only one I have flight ready is an older GP CAP 21. Love the look of the planes. I had a H9 CAP 232 that I lost to various technical problems Otherwise CAPS are my FAVORITE!!!!!

It's funny, when I first got into scale aerobatics I thought the Cap was the ugliest ship in this arena. It grew on me and now it's my favorite plane both in appearance and in performance.
