But I got exactly what I want. Not what someone wanted me to have.
Can't wait to get it on the scales and in the air.

Thanks for taking the time to post those. Very nice job on the plane.
You did a major amount of work on the firewall!
I'm making slow but somewhat steady progress. I'll start taking pictures next week.
I ended up going to 5" Pro-Links for the aileron. Just didn't feel comfortable with the amount of thread in the ball links.
Hope you having fun with it!

Yep, I had to go with the 5" links for exactly the same reason. My Cap has a Fox 3.2 in the nose, I had to notch and box the firewall too. Have not flown her yet (i've also got a new DP Ultimate on the boards) but it looks good sitting there!

I have the 80" Cap and my Brother has the Patty Wagstaff.
My Cap didn't require any added weight or special building to balance at the factory recommended setting. I actually had to mount my 2700 mah battery way in the back. I also added a choke servo to my BME 50. The choke servo is mounted along side the rudder servo.
On the second landing my gear folded, (Wheelpants went right up through the wing
).
My personal opinion is to go with the Patty. I really fealt like I was settling for a lesser plane going with the cap just because I really didn't want to have the same plane as my brother. We fly in a very small group and these are the only two larger planes so I wanted to be different.
I'm not saying that the Cap is a bad plane or that you wouldn't love it. I'm just stating an opinion based on the experience I have had with both of them.
