Default GP Venus .40 Engine Position!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear All

Please could you send me any ideas on how to positon the engine apart from the inverted shown on the instructions. I would like to put the exhaust out the bottom and therefore the engine head will poke out the cowl side but how??????????

All ideas gratefully read as in the past the feedback has been brill. Thanks to all

Download the larger Venus II manual and it shows how to mount the engine with the head at around 8 o'clock. That would put the exhaust underneath in-line with the center of the fuse.

If you have installed your engine up side down and used the included engine mount, then you are able to turn it at 90o by just unscrewing and screwing the engine mount bolts, I have had many death sticks with my Saito 82 mounted up side down, and yesterday was the last day with that set up, so I decided to turn it at 90o today as many other people have done, the only two more things that you have to do is 1.- reroute the throttle pushrod, making only one more hole at the firewall and 2.- Turn your throttle servo position at 180o to make the servo arm run straighter with the pushrod.
I may take some pictures if they help.
