I visited a local hobby shop today and after chatting with the owner, he strongly recommended I use the dual servo setup on the elevator, with one servo servicing each side of the elevator. I would like to know what you all thought of that. Is that necessary?

I would go ahead and install it. If you have mixing capabilites on your radio you can mix stuff in and do some wild stuff. Plus, its easier to set it up so you dont have one elevator move more then the other, causing it to roll...

I agree. It isn't necessary, but it sure makes control installation and setup easier. I've always hated having to put in that blasted torque rod between elevator halves. Invasiably, I'll always drill the holes a little off and end up having to bend and twist the rod to get the halves lined up. A whole lot easier with two servos.....
