Sig Kadet Senior wing struts?
#1
Ive beefed up my fuse and added a 4-stroke,,,its a little heavier than stock. She flies great.
Id like to attach some working wing struts or added support for the wings. Has anyone done this on this particular plane,,,if so what did you use and how was it attached. I was thinking something aluminum?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Balsa will be plenty strong enough.
I like to build blocks into the wing and attach the struts with pinned hinges (Either the flat type screwed into the wing, or the Robart type glued into the wing)
On the fuse end you can just use a piece of thin aluminum with a hole in it to screw into the bottom of the fuse

I must be thick or something,,,,,, I dont quite understand the procedure. Do you have any pics that I could go by? I do have various types of hinges,so I guess Im all set in that area. Thanks
