Also,
Just for those who may wonder, the covering on this is HIGH TEMP covering...took quite a bit of heat to get it to adhere to lite ply tabs on the hatch....
I know some ARF's come with poor covering material...I feel this is good stuff....
Doesn't feel like monokote, yet, stiffer than ultrakote....somewhere in the middle of the two....
Hope that helps.

This kit also comes with a pretty decent looking nylon/glass motor mount. Light and strong. I think I'm going to use it with the RCS.
Anyone know if these types of mounts are ok to use with a gasser, I know the motors run hotter and don't want to have it melt on me....
Plus I like the idea of having a NON conductive motor mount to insulate the motor better. With ignition....I try to avoid as much metal as I can.
On the gear mounting block, on the inside of the fuse.. it looks like they've installed a piece of aluminum L channel to the gear mounting area....nice....
Quality worksmanship here....
Also....The lead post for this thread is Chief's Katana, this one is the same MFG (China Model Products). However, I ordered from GiantScalePlanes.com (they had them in stock, Chief is about 3 weeks back order). The service I recieved was excellent from both....they were very patient to answer my questions and very professional. So, Kudo's to both companies. They're an asset to our hobby.
Thank the little Chinese guys/gals/kids (pun) that put my plane together too...they did a good job (probably for the wage of a bowl of rice).
