Default Quick question about Gorrilla glue?

Just a quick question.

I need to know if gorrila glue is harmful to styrofoam?

I have a Creek hobbies Suhkoi 90-120 size(quite old) that was very tail heavy on it's maiden 7 years ago w/ OS120 pumped engine. I ended up cartwheeling it on landing and did some minor damage.

About three months ago I rebuilt the plane and mounted a heavier engine (Saito 180) on the front and mounted the battery way up front also.

I am now thinking it is too nose heavy and was considering moving the battery back. The problem is that there is alot of foam structure and I will need to glue a mounting plate for the battery into the foam structure.

Also if anyone knows where the best CG location be, I would be very appreciative.

Thanks in advance

MR G

Gorilla glue is best used where clamping or weighting down is possible as it expands. IMO, 5 or 15 minute epoxy would be a better glue in your application. 25% of the root cord is usually a safe CG to start with.

I used gorilla glue for my foam ep and it worked very well. No melting of any sort.
