I am wanting to get a nice aerobat for my Saito 100 and am really impressed with the Yellow Aircraft .60 series ARFs. I love the look of the .60 size Cap, but have heard bad things about how Caps tip stall. I want something with good, predictable flying habits. I really would like to try the Cap, but maybe the Yellow Extra or Sukhoi would be more stable. Anyone have any experiences to share with the Yellow A/C .60 Cap?

I've heard some good things about them BUT mine snapped if you looked at it wrong! you really had to watch your airspeed or it would snap to the right. I checked washout and both wings were the same. After the 5th or so flight I sold it. Personally, the Extra or the Edge would be better. The quality on any of them is outstanding.

thats kind of what I was worried about. I decided earlier today to go ahead and order the Sukhoi from Shaun at Yellow Aircraft. I really like the lines of the Sukhoi, although the color scheme on the .60 Yellow Sukhoi isn't the best, I can probably work with it.

I have all the 60 size Yellow Aircraft models and they all fly great. Just build it the way the instructions say and you'll be good to go. the cap flies very good. I have a 91fx in it same with all the other ones. The cap can do any trick in the book and then come in for a perfect 3 point landing every time. I'm still amazed at how lite these things come out and the wing loading is great. I can stall that thing 3 feet of the ground for a second and then give it a little gas and harrier it in. Pick any 60 size or 30 or even the 1.20 and you'll be very happy.

CNASS,
How's the Sukhoi? I was thinking of getting the 60 sized to go with my Saito 100. If you have flown all of the 60 sized Yellows, which is your favorite?
Thanks for the info!

It's either the Cap or the Sukhoi. They have the larger elevator surface then the other models. They performer 3d tricks alittle better. Besides that all the planes are just about the same. The wings are the same. It's like they are all the same plane as fare as wing span weight and all the other stuff. All they did was make them look a little different. I found the same thing with their new line of 30 ARF'S. they to are the same plane they just changed the the fuse and tail section alittle and cowl. the wings are the same the landing gear is the same so on and so on... When you get to the 60 size there is alittle bit more of a difference but they still use the same wing and air foil. the fuse is almost the same on all as fare as construction. The 3 new 60 ARF'S suhkoi, giles, edge are different from the older ones. even those three new each share some of the same features with each other. The nice thing about those 3 are they have air foiled tail surfaces.

we have the extra and it's a marvelous plane it's a smooth runner and yes a little snappy - just don't dail up to much elevator and all will be fine. lands a little hot but no problem for the more experienced pilot.
