Default Cermark F16 what engine?

I've read most of the thread in the fast prop forrum,but by the time I'd read half way through my nasal hair needed triming. Yes a Limey has brought one of these and this limey would of thought an OS 91 fx would of been the perfect choice. However I don't see any mention of this engine being installed in this model. Is there a reason? The retract issue is a good debate and the join line on my fuse ruins which for the most part is a beautifull model.
Any advice about using or not using an OS engine would be appreciated.[&o]

So what's wrong with with this 0S 91?

* 2.8 HP
* multiposition NV
* O ring seal on NV prevents setting creep and air leaks
* Low profile = more cooling fins on head
* Dual BB with the larger bearing in front

Build the F-16, install the engine and fly it already.

Quite a few of the F-16 aircraft out there flying with OS91FX power. Nothing at all wrong with that combination.

There are a number of OS/Jett-stream combinations too in both the F-16 and F-18. Excellent combination. 12x7 or 12x8 prop, and you will really enjoy the performance.

Lots of F-16s flying with Jett SJ-90L and SJ-90LX power too.

Well thanks for all the info . I'll have to have a think . I know the OS is a good reliable motor and with a Western tuned pipe will give a very good throttle response. I checked the price out at Steve web models resently and they've just increasd in price by £40 quid. The weak pound and import duty makes the Jett engine very expensive. For some reason I brought 3 of these planes. I'll post some pics and info once i get started.
