Default Hangar 9 cub

Hey guys I'm putting together a hangar 9 cub 40. I am looking for engine suggestions. I was going to put my 15 year old 70 surpass in it but I think she is starting to get a little tired. I didnt notice how low the compression was till I got a saito 91 to compare. I would like to go with a Saito but I just dont know what size. This is going to be my plane to fly when I want to relax so I dont need alot of power. I just need enough power to takeoff from my backyard runway which is short and rough. Thanks guys.

Why not have your 70 Surpass rebuilt ? A friend put rings and bearings in mine, and it's running great !!!

The Saito 56 or 62 would be ideal

A .70 size might be in order since you are at Wyoming altitudes. I fly mine with an OS.52 at 1,370 feet elevation with no problems.
