Mounting OS 55 on U CAN DO 46
#2
It will likely fit and look a lot better inverted. It should be fine in that position. The only real problem is getting to the glow plug. An easy way to solve that is to use a remote glow plug connector: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD693&P=0

You can mount it upright, but why not split the difference and mount it on it's side at 90 degrees? Or angle it in a way that the muffler is centered underneath.

It doesen't matter which way the engnie is facing as long as the crankshaft mounted on center. With it mounted off at a 90 is may throw off your lateral bance a little bit but nothing a little balancing work won't fix. I think a 45 Deg angle would be perfect. BTW make sure you try the 12.25x3.75W APC prop with your 55AX. That is what I use and it is awesome for 3D stuff. Only downside is that most LHS don't carry that size. I got mine from Tower.

Hi!
Mounted my MVVS 15cc (91) sideways on my You-Can-Do.60.
I use a 12 oz tank (original is way way too big) and a 15x6 APC prop for best performance.
