Plane is Balanced and flies great wouldnt change a thing (except) it will nose over at low speeds. I installed longer wire for the main gear and larger tires for grass field. No help. Any suggestions?

As with ANY warbird you MUST take off slowly & gradually build up speed using elevator as much as possible to keep tail connected to the ground. When you feel the speed is close to satisfactory you can then give more elevator & power and get it in the air. A lot of guys will shim the landing gear to give a more aggressive angle, that will also help reduce the "nose overs" Unfortunately, that is the "nature of the beast" with warbirds. Actually once in the air they fly pretty well, it's just the landings & take offs that present the problems. I think they designed them to fight & didn't pay enough attention to how they flew.

Hi!
Check the C of G! You should be able to only have 5-10mm up on the elevator if it is balanced out correctly. More elevator throw usually means it is nose heavy!

Thought i would let you guys know what the fix was. The landing gear wire was very weak as is with most arfs i have had, I went to my local welding shop and got some heavy welding rod and heated and bent it to fit but made them 3/4 inch longer and put the axle at leading edge of wing. This puts the wheel centered on the leading edge of the wing. Now it couldnt be better. THANKS
