Just a FYI
I recieved my senior telemaster an ARF about 3 weeks ago.. and began going over it. I found that the hindges were held in by one small screw.. No glue at all. I replace all with http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXK114&P=ML
They fit in the exsisting slots and function much better
Also you may want to add some real epoxy to this plane. I'm not sure what kind of glue they used but it's not much to brag about.
A little info about this build
Putting a 25cc gas on it.
added 50% to rudder (more control at slow speeds)
may do flapperons not sure yet
Moving all servos back, way back making room for drop box.
getting rid of the rubber band idea and making a much better way to attach the wing
Build is going great all I have left is to hook up the pull-pull on rudder, finish fuel lines and double check CG

Good luck with your STM!
Late last yr I did about the same thing you are doing now. Installed G20EI, 5" Dubro wheels and got rid of the rubber bands. Also added the necessary epoxy in various places. Can't wait for the weather to get better and the field to dry out...

Ya I haven't had much time lately to finish her. Still have to build a prop hub for my 25cc.
Figure out how to mount the throddle servo. and that's about it. I'm going to build skis for this plane. Winter last so long here in Idaho I have to have some way of flying. Can't wait to get her finished and see how she flys. I'm sure slow and easy like the rest of them do.

What I did to save some $ is convert the 25cc toro weedeater engine that everyone here is bragging about. I figure for this style plane I don't need a high performance engine. I hear this motor is very easy to start and very reliable. We'll see.

I just received my 94" Senior telemaster Arf last week. i bought the Red & White one. Im new to building and im having a hard time with certain things, for example the Control Rods from the Servos to the Elevator and Rudder was a major task for me. i had to get a professional builder involved. i thought i could handle this on my own but there were to many things i had to modify that the manual didnt cover. Im also converting mine to electric and i havent even started on that yet.
my next task is going to be the Wing. i dont like the idea of Rubber bands and want to try and see if i can bolt the Wings on by screws. How is this possible? or can i actually use rubber bands. is that recommendable? and do i really need struts? im not sure how to mount the struts on. This is becoming a major job for me but i do need the experience. I hate to bother my friends all the time for i want to learn this on my own so can anyone upload some photos of your Senior telemaster? photos can tell a lot.
photos of struts on fuse and wing,,,,,,how u bolted on your wing with screws,,,,,and how your servo tray looks and finally your electric setup. i have a Roxxy motor with a turnigy sentilon 100hv esc and a 6s. that's gonna be my electric setup i cant wait to fly it. This is my first build for all my other planes i got used and already build.
Any comments and support will be greatly appreciated.
The uploaded Photo shows just the Telemaster Wing sitting on top of my Worlds Engine Robin Hood. Hmmmm now that looks like a nice project. Flying a Telemaster wing on a Robin Hood. Looks like a perfect match.
