Default GP Cherokee ARF

Been wanting one of these for a long time, finally got me one. Need to decided what motor and servos to use. I have a Specktrum radio and transmitter. Any ideas, I know there is a huge thread on this plane but jsut want some quick answers. Anyone used Tower Hobbies Standard Servos Before, the price is right @ 10.00 a servo. Would love some responses and I plan on ordering from Tower tonight. Thanks

The Tower servos will be fine.

Any good 46 2-stroke or 52 4-stroke will pull it very well

Mike is right. You picked a very good airplane and Tower has good stuff and great people to deal with.

I know you want quick answers, but it will be worth your time to read RC Universe review as well as the build thread on this plane as there were some issues people ran into on the mounting of the stabs and with the landing gear. I just finished mine and the hour it took to read all of this helped. It is a very simple ARF to assemble. Enjoy

Thanks, I pretty much only ever deal with Tower as they have such GREAT service anc usually good prices. I have never messed with anything but Futaba Servos and radio equipment. I have used the Specktrum and love it, jsut wasnt sure about the tower servos. Flew thier trainer when I got back into the hobby a few years ago but that was it. Never messed with engines or sevos from them. Great! Anyone else with some suggestions? I have also already followed that thread. Wing has been made 1 piece and the tailfeathers are epoxyed on. Dont really care about taking them off. I am an experienced builder and flyer, jsut havent used the tower stuff and wanted some other suggestions before I put the hardare into the air frame.thanks for the info.

Most of the Tower Branded servos and radios are Futaba made.

Only ever ran with an OS engines and Supertigers, well besides the one Evolution engine I bought(MISTAKE[:'(]) Anyhoo, was thinking about puttin a Supertiger .51 in my cherokee. I will have to put a pitts on it of course as the mufflers could be mistakes as nothing less then a missile. . I had a Supertiger .61 on my Seagull models edge 540(.46-.50 size) but only broke it in and it was a nice motor. Got outta the hobby before I had a chance to fly her. Any suggestions? As a matter of fact, anyone with a decent 55ax of 46ax for sale (as I need one for the trainer I am putting together for my father) ill take it! Thanks
