could anyone suggest a cheap option? i am very new to the hobby, on my first plane. got a simulator and practiced about 10 hours or so before attempting to put my trainer plane in the air. after a few attempts and some 5 min epoxy i see my trainer might not last long. i was wondering if there were any cheap foam models i could buy to put my parts in when epoxy won't save me any more? i have a 480 brushed motor, 1000 mah battery, 4 channel transmitter, 6channel receiver w/v-tail mix and 4-9 gram micro servos. also my prop is a pusher style, can i get a regular prop for that same motor or is there a diff? i like the almost indestructable foam 3-d planes i have seen but realize i am far from piloting one of those. anything else out there that abusable? if anyone can help i would greatly appr. the info.

hmmm I don't know about indestructible but here are a couple/or more planes
e-flight apprentice
multiplex mentor
ms composit citabria
multiplex easy star.. the kit is about $60 and its great for utter beginners you'll get your orientation with that down nicely.
I personally learned to fly on the hobbico ventura (I still looooove this plane) and the horizon hobby F-27 stryker but thats just me
the venturas body is plastic with a very thin foam wing (i've never broken it own it for about a year already) this thing can do loops stall turns even a roll if you really know what you're doing its only three channel though
still a great bird!
hope this helps

Check this one out.
Cheaper than other suggestions, easier to fix, upgradeable, etc.
Watch all of the videos and you'll be a believer.
