Default Phoenix Sonic .25 high wing.

Safety moment. (We have do these at work before a meeting.) [&:]

Safety moment. When handling high powered adhesives like cyo-nyo-acrobat, wash hands before using the stinky room.

UPS guy just delivered the plane I bought while consuming adult beverages and with the intention of something to hang my OS FS .30 on. It looks pretty big sitting up there. Like one of those constipated gargoyls on top of an old building. Also because of the downdraft carb-a-tooter it has to sit pretty far forward and that also worries me. Thats alot of weight sticking out pretty far. (For the engineers, torsional moments, vibration/structual fatigue etc) The frame work looks pretty well built but the covering is that peel and stick kind of stuff.

What would yall do?

Slap it together as is with the .30?

Buy a .25 2-smoke and listen to that whine? (I had a Harley and I had a Hodaka!)

Strip the covering and do some beefing up where needed, mod to bolt down wing and re-cover using something transparent and solid white? Whats cool about that is the old guys will ask what make plane it is. The downside is, by the time I finish it, it'll be too hot to stare at the sun.

I thought for a moment about cutting the dehedral, deyrdal, hydrival, and going the tail dragger route but I'm still a noob.

Get off the internet and get to work?
